$100,000 Helps Build a Home Forever

We launched our 2017 Year End Appeal on Thanksgiving weekend with an insert in both newspapers and a mailer sent to our donor base. Our goal for the appeal is $100,000 which will help build a home forever for a hard working year-round islander.

We’re excited to report that, to date, we’ve raised almost $24,000 from the generosity of 33 donors! So far, our dedicated previous donors have been joined by 16 new donors. Together they have pledged their support of our Vision 2020 goal to build 100 new homes for 300 working island residents and their families by the end of 2020.

We’re just abut a quarter of the way there! With your commitment and help we can achieve our 2017 year end goal. Please take a moment and donate today!

Hot Off the Press!!!

Understanding the urgent need for more housing within financial reach of year-round working island families is hard. Many people aren’t aware there’s a housing crisis on Martha’s Vineyard. There’s lots of information to share and it can be daunting to dive into the details. We’re excited to share our latest creation of 3 pocket size brochures (they fold down to 6″ h x 4″ w). Our goal is to provide our community with important information in an impactful, accessible format which can be inexpensively mailed and easily distributed. We hope we’ve succeeded!
