AFFORDABLE HOUSING OPPORTUNITY:
TACKENASH KNOLL

Rental applications are now available for Tackenash Knoll, a new neighborhood of 60 permanently affordable year-round rental homes next to the YMCA in Oak Bluffs.

The Community Builders (TCB), the nonprofit property manager for the neighborhood, will oversee tenant applications. They are hosting 2 information sessions for prospective applicants:
Thursday, October 15, 4:30 – 6:00 PM at the Oak Bluffs Public Library
Saturday, November 21, 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM at the Oak Bluffs Public Library
Both sessions will have the option to attend virtually.

Homes will be available to households earning between 30% and 120% of Area Median Income, creating affordable opportunities for a wide range of year-round Island residents. For example, eligible incomes range from approximately $34,000 for a one-person household to $211,000 for a five-person household, depending on household size and apartment type.

Homeownership opportunities are advertised in the local newspapers and notices are mailed to income eligible families and individuals who are enrolled in the Island Affordable Homebuyer Clearinghouse administered by the the Dukes County Regional Housing Authority.
