We’ve been working hard on the construction of 9 new, year-round, affordable apartments in Scott’s Grove for the Town of West Tisbury. Now the Dukes County Regional Housing Authority is ready to begin accepting rental applications!  Please have a look at the Scott’s Grove Rental Application Packet for all of the details.  You can download the application in either Portuguese or English and submit it by regular mail or in person. All applications must be postmarked to or received by the DCRHA by 5:00 pm on Monday, July 16, 2018.

If you are interested in finding out more, information meetings are scheduled for Tuesday, May 29th @ 5:30 pm at the Howes House in West Tisbury and Saturday, June 16th @ 10:00 am on-site at Scott’s Grove at 565 Edgartown Road in West Tisbury.

The beautiful and stylish Nobnocket Boutique Inn in Vineyard Haven has become the newest Gold member of the IHT Workforce Housing Partnership. The owners, Simon and Annabelle Hunton, unveiled their unique program in support of creating more affordable housing on Martha’s Vineyard in an article in the Boston Globe last weekend.

When guests make a regular price, early booking, during the month of April, which can be used any time through the fall, 5% of the booking amount will be donated to the Island Housing Trust.

“We’re very excited that Simon and Annabelle are joining the Workforce Housing Partnership”, stated Christopher Anderson, Development Manger at IHT, “we’re grateful for their commitment to our community and to our organization”.
