Harbor Homes, a non-profit dedicated to reducing homelessness on Martha’s Vineyard, closed on a shared occupancy home for women in Oak Bluffs last week. Karen Tewhey, the Harbor Homes Executive Director, stated that there are at least 100 individuals without homes on the island. She believes there are many more we’re not counting. Last Friday, June 25th, more than 70 people attended the Kuehn’s Way dedication ceremony to celebrate the development of 20 year-round affordable rentals apartments.
